Steps lead me closer and closer to fresh air, carried through a warm breeze that gently brushes the tops of my cheeks. Grass blades blow in the wind creating a soft melody. Birds harmonize bringing a tune of serenity to my ears. Calm washes over me and I am alone. Looking up and down the riverside I see where humanity has touched and minimized this natural haven to just a stretch along the river. Small houses popping up at both ends of my view.
