How to Make a Vision Board
This post is to guide you through making a vision board. Vision boards can be extremely helpful when you’ve hit a creative rut. I find myself turning back to them every now and then. It may seem like just some magazine clippings on a poster board but the final product is much more than what you can see. Its focus and vision. It shows where you want to be and how you will get there. By now hopefully you are fired up to get started with your vision board. I like to start by gathering my materials like magazines, spare craft paper cuttings, and tape. For an Eco-friendly version consider…

Giving a Thoughtful Gift Basket ❤
I love to gift baskets because I can never decide what to get people. By giving someone a basket of things, they will be surprised that you put the thought into choosing each item specifically for them. (Don’t show them this post haha). It’s easy to personalize baskets but it’s also easy to give somewhat generic gift baskets that feel personal if you don’t know someone well. Gift baskets are great for people who like surprises, don’t want to give you gift ideas, or that one person who is impossible to shop for. Another great thing about giving gift baskets is that you don’t waste paper bags or wrapping. Baskets…

A Walk in Budapest
A photo essay created by Sarah Elizabeth We begin our walk at the water’s edge looking towards the old city of Buda. Fisherman’s Bastion, a well-known Budapest monument, can be seen below the tallest squire on castle hill (image featured above). At our feet are metal shoes made to honor the Jewish lives lost at this site during World War II. The cold air brushes my cheeks and the water flows peacefully by. I am grateful for my existence and respect the ultimate sacrifices that were made here. We stop for a moment of silence. We venture further into the old city Pest. Along our way, we find the Great Market…

For the Love of Travel ❤
I am one of five kids in my family. Growing up, my parents took us on family vacations anywhere they could drive to. As much as I love my family, these trips were not how I became to love travel. Our family trips consisted of long car rides, quarrels with my siblings, and a constant stream of questions like “when are we eating?” and “are we there yet?” from my siblings and myself included. Bless my parents for putting up with us and still taking us to new places! Flying in Love My love of travel began in my senior year of high school. I was going on a trip…

The Riverside
A poem written by Sarah Elizabeth. This poem describes a peaceful moment next to a river. Steps lead me closer and closer to fresh air, carried through a warm breeze that gently brushes the tops of my cheeks. Grass blades blow in the wind creating a soft melody. Birds harmonize bringing a tune of serenity to my ears. Calm washes over me and I am alone. Looking up and down the riverside I see where humanity has touched and minimized this natural haven to just a stretch along the river. Small houses popping up at both ends of my view. Looking further, my eyes lead me to the tree tops high on the hill. The leaves create a collage of auburn, mustard, and sienna. Deep…
