Green Bay, Wisconsin is a classic Midwest city and has a lot to offer when it comes to entertainment. Of course, we have the packers (which I’ve included) but Green Bay has so much more to offer! Visit the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, the Neville Public Museum, or check out the activities at Titletown. This article compiles the best ways to spend your time while visiting Green Bay. Enjoy!
Lambeau Field & Packers Hall of Fame
Whether you’re in town for a game or just checking out the city, a visit to Lambeau field is essential. There are stadium tours available daily from $18 for adults. The Hall of Fame, another must-see for Packer Fans, is located on the main floor of the Lambeau Field Atrium. The Hall of Fame is open daily and admission is $18 for adults.
Combo tickets are available for visitors planning to visit both sites. Both the Packers Hall of Fame and Lambeau Field Tours are not available on home game days. To purchase tickets, visit: https://www.packershofandtours.com/plan-your-visit/admission-tickets
Titletown District
The area around the stadium has been built up over the last few years and is now the Titletown District. Here you can find activities all year round. Skating and sledding are popular activities in the winter while free outdoor concerts and markets draw crowds in the summer.
The Titletown District hosts a variety of events including yoga and Zumba classes, community nights, book club meet-ups, night markets, and seasonal festivals. Find more information about the Titletown District here: https://www.titletown.com/
Neville Public Museum
The Neville Public Museum offers insight into the local history of Green Bay, Brown County, and Northeast Wisconsin; highlighting the industries, events, and people that influenced and shaped the communities we know today.
The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday and admission is $9 for adults. The museum houses permanent exhibits on local history as well as rotating exhibits. To see the upcoming exhibits, visit: https://www.nevillepublicmuseum.org/plan-your-visit/exhibits/upcoming-exhibits/
On Broadway & Downtown Green Bay
At the heart of the city, you’ll find Green Bay’s Downtown with many restaurants and shops. The Downtown District of Green Bay and On Broadway are organizations that host local community events. Attending one of these events is a great way to experience the community of Green Bay. Events include weekly farmer’s markets, educational events, and family-oriented festivals and markets.
The Farmer’s Market on Broadway is the best thing to do in the summer or fall. While there, you’ll find food trucks, live music, a beer tent, locally sourced food vendors, artisan products, and handmade goods. Bay Beach Amusement Park & Wildlife Sanctuary
Bay Beach is a place I recommend to everyone visiting Green Bay. The wildlife sanctuary is a 600-acre refuge that is free and open to the public, showcasing many native species. It’s the perfect place for a morning or afternoon stroll on any of the many maintained trails. It’s also a great picnic spot.
At the sanctuary, you can feed the birds by purchasing grain, which helps to support the sanctuary. The sanctuary is open from 8 am to 4:30 pm daily. Don’t forget to visit the wolves and the otters! The Bay Beach Amusement Park, down the street from the wildlife sanctuary, is home to the Zippin Pippin, Elvis’s favorite rollercoaster. The coaster was relocated to Green Bay from Memphis, Tennessee in 2010. The Zippin Pippin is one of the oldest existing wooden rollercoasters in the United States and costs $1 to ride.
Each ticket at the amusement park only costs 25 cents, with the majority of rides requiring 1 to 2 tickets. The park also has concessions and other classic rides, including a Ferris wheel, merry-go-round, scrambler, tilt-a-whirl, and bumper cars. The Automobile Gallery & Event Center
At the Automobile Gallery, you’ll find over 85 classic cars on display. The museum itself is impeccable and the cars are very well preserved. On my last visit, the gallery was expanding to exhibit even more classic cars! The gallery is community-oriented and has educational events for high school students in the area too.
The event space at the gallery can be used for meetings, weddings, conferences, and other events. One of my favorite events in Green Bay is the Shamrock Craft Beer Invitational held at the center in March. At this event, you can sample craft beers from 25 breweries located in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

Sample Craft Brews
Green Bay is fortunate to have a great selection of craft breweries. With 8 local craft breweries to choose from, you won’t run out of new beers to try. Some of my favorite craft breweries include Badger State Brewing Company, Titletown Brewing Company, Copper State Brewery, and Zambaldi Beer. Enjoy Some Cheese Curds
A trip to Green Bay would simply not be complete without Wisconsin Cheese Curds(I’m talking about the deep-fried curds!). Thankfully, they aren’t hard to find, as most bars and restaurants in the area have them on the menu. Some of my favorite places for cheese curds are Kroll’s East or West, The Bar, and Crown & Common. For a list of local restaurants to visit, click here: https://www.greenbay.com/dining/
