Where to Find the Best Brunch in Green Bay, WI

If it’s the weekend and you don’t see me at brunch, send help. Something has gone terribly wrong or I am not okay. As a brunch fanatic, I’ve made it my personal mission to try all the brunch spots and report back. Here is my lineup for 6 of the best spots to get brunch in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

*Disclaimer* If I have experienced long wait times at places repeatedly or the service is poor, rushed, or the meal isn’t worth the wait, I don’t mention those spots on my blog.

Cafe Con Crema

First up, we have Cafe Con Crema opened in early summer of 2023 so it’s relatively new but has become incredibly popular! I’ve been a few times and they have great food, fantastic lattes, and fresh fruit juices. For the quality of food you get, you can’t beat their prices for a nice brunch.

Cafe Con Crema is a great spot for family brunch and brunchers of all ages. They have a variety of breakfast and lunch foods but if you’re looking for a boozy brunch you may want to head elsewhere as they do not have alcoholic drinks i.e. mimosas or bloody marys.

Delilah’s

Delilah’s is in downtown Green Bay and serves up Southern-inspired cuisine. I love the interior design and atmosphere at Delilah’s, it’s such a beautiful space to brunch in! The food is high quality and scrumptious.

I ordered simple biscuits and gravy the last time I was there and it was honestly the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. The biscuits were so fluffy and buttery and flakey. They were perfection! Delilah’s can be a little more pricey depending on what you order, but it’s the perfect spot for your bougie friends or foodie family members. Also, Delilah’s serves mimosas and bloody marys (I haven’t had them yet but will report back once I do!). Highly recommend Delilah’s if you’re looking for a spot to brunch in Green Bay.

Egg Yolk Cafe

Egg Yolk Cafe is kind of a hidden gem in Green Bay. I’m honestly a little worried too many people will love it and I’ll no longer be able to get a table. They now have two locations but if you go to the original location in De Pere, you may be a little confused at first because it’s located inside a truckstop.

I was a little skeptical at first but once the food was served, I never questioned the location again. That’s thanks to these four words: Bananas. Foster. French. Toast. Both the food and service at Egg Yolk Cafe are phenomenal. After my first visit, I recommended Egg Yollk Cafe to all of my close friends who were also confused about the location but were blown away by the food. Egg Yolk Cafe doesn’t serve alcohol but they serve from 6 am to 10 pm so if you want brunch food for dinner, Egg Yolk is your place!

The Walnut Room at Hotel Northland

The Walnut Room is a restaurant inside of Hotel Northland. If you don’t know anything about Hotel Northland, it’s a gorgeous historic hotel that was built in 1924. It was renovated and restored in 2019 and it’s on the National Register of Historic Places. Give me any reason to visit Hotel Northland and I’ll be there! Brunch is the perfect excuse.

Now back to the Walnut Room, brunch in Green Bay at the Walnut Room is a whole experience. You’ll be treated to great service and delicious food in a beautiful space that gives Gatsby vibes. The Walnut Room has continental breakfast, breakfasts to stay for those who want to savor the experience, and on-the-go options for hotel guests in a hurry. If you’re planning to go to the Walnut Room, the attire is business casual so plan to dress accordingly! You can get breakfast from 6:30 am to 10 am during the week and 7 am to 11 am on the weekends.

Toast & Co.

Toast & Co. is a cozy place for brunch that focuses on made-from-scratch quality dishes, community engagement, and gracious hospitality. They use local ingredients and serve up meals with a warm smile.

One of the things I love about Toast & Co. is their lattes and espresso beverages. The food is always fresh and I love supporting a local business that supports our community! Pro tip: Order a side of the mac and cheese (trust me!).

Pancake Place

Pancake Place is the original brunch spot in Green Bay. It’s been around for 44 years (I think it opened in 1979?) and has been voted best breakfast in the area for 13 consecutive years. It’s a local favorite that serves up stuffed hashbrowns, black coffee, and pancakes the size of their plates all morning.

With affordable prices and kid-friendly menu options, Pancake Place is probably the best place for families with younger kiddos. If you’re looking for lattes or mimosas, you won’t find them at Pancake Place but they do have the best hashbrowns in town. Open from 5 am to 2 pm, this is one breakfast place you don’t want to miss.
